  3. It is easy to install Fractal Mania on your hard disk. Just follow the
  4. instructions shown below and you should have no problems.
  5.  
  6. 1. Create a new directory on your hard disk to store Fractal Mania. If
  7. possible, call it FRACTALM.
  8.  
  9. 2. Copy the contents of the distribution disk into this directory.
  10.  
  11. 3. Run FM12D. This will create the Fractal Mania files on your hard
  12. disk.
  13.  
  14. 4. Delete FM12D. Once you have created the Fractal Mania files by
  15. running FM12D, it is no longer needed.
  16.  
  17. 5. Run FRACTALM. This is the actual screen saver program.
  18.  
  19. 6. Read FRACTALM.DOC. This file contains the documentation for Fractal
  20. Mania and tells you how to add the program to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file so
  21. that it runs every time you turn on your computer.
  22.  
  23. Example: Assume that you want to put the program on your C: drive, the
  24. Fractal Mania distribution disk is in your A: drive and that FRACTALM is
  25. the name you want to use for the Fractal Mania directory. The following
  26. set of instructions will get the program installed on your hard disk.

  28.     C:
  29.     MD FRACTALM
  30.     CD FRACTALM
  31.     COPY A:FM12D.EXE
  32.     FM12D
  33.     ... at this point you will be asked if you want to unarchive the        
  34.         program. Enter Y.
  35.     ... if no error messages show up, continue with these instruction.
  36.         If you do get an error message, call us at (602) 843-0183       
  37.         and we will try to help.
  38.     DEL FM12D.EXE
  39.     FRACTALM
  40.  
  41. If you complete these instructions you should see the Fractal Mania
  42. "Please Register" screen, a blue screen that describes the program and
  43. tells how to register it. Press a key to continue your work. If you
  44. leave the system unattended for 5 minutes Fractal Mania will activate.
  45. You can also activate it immediately by typing <ALT><LeftShift><I>. See
  46. FRACTALM.DOC for more details.
